A very honest review about Meenakshi mam and her teaching: I have been following her on Instagram for a long time and get inspired every time she posts a new artwork, and I always thought of getting taught by her. Now that she is finally my art mentor, I know her a little more — she is not just a great artist but also a great teacher. I genuinely enjoy taking classes because of her, she is so engaging with the students. I have never seen any teacher like that, especially online. She is that teacher we always dreamt of.

Ma'am is very good at explaining things. She teaches everything in a simple and easy-to-understand way. The course is also very good and covers important concepts and skills that are necessary to become a good artist. I really enjoyed learning from this course.

I agree, mam explains the topic in detail, not just covering topics. She even tries to clear small technical things which are based on drawing. As a beginner these small things are very helpful.

Understood the Chiaroscuro theory very well. Also how the light and shadows form based on the light source and direction, and the way they act differently based on the situations. The PDF itself is well informative but the live interaction made it way much easier to get the concept.

★★★★★

I understood types of shadows and how the transition from light to shadow happens, and different types of shadows for different types of objects. This is such a fun and interesting class — mam made it even easy to understand by preparing a PDF with examples.

Mam explains very well and in an easy way. She makes sure that each one understands the topic and she is helpful also. If anyone doesn't understand, she makes sure to explain again. Thank you so much! I really enjoy attending the classes.

Thank you Meenakshi ma'am for an amazing and interactive class. Helping us understand the colour wheel in such a way that it feels unforgettable now. Explanations on complimentary and analogue colours, depth and shadow, warm and cool was really great! Looking forward to our next class. Appreciate all the efforts you put in to make these classes what they are.

I am really grateful to have found Meenakshi madam's class. She has a very strong focus on building all the basic fundamentals, and she patiently clarifies them until you actually get it. The practice assignments with lines and circles seemed simple at first, but they truly built my confidence and removed my fear of going wrong. She encourages us to think about colour differently — using complementary colours, analogous colours and other colour theories to make our artwork more realistic and impactful. Thank you for making learning so encouraging!

The way you teach with so much patience and explain everything so clearly makes learning from you such a beautiful experience. You make even difficult things feel so easy to understand, and because of your calm and patient way of teaching, I can learn everything comfortably and confidently. I've honestly started telling my family about your teaching too because I'm so happy with how much I'm learning.

I really enjoyed today's session, and I especially loved the Quiz Challenge! I had a lot of confusion about shading, and because of that I was also struggling to complete my charcoal portrait properly and on time. But after today's session, many of my doubts have been cleared. I feel more confident about working on my charcoal portrait now — the way you explained everything step by step made the concepts much easier to understand.

Mam taught all the topics in a very clear, organised and presentable way. I especially enjoyed the 6-minute challenge she gave us during the class — it was exciting and fun, and made the class more engaging. I also really appreciated that mam took the time to evaluate each person's work individually and give feedback. This not only helps us understand where we can improve but also boosts our confidence.
